Facebook/Meta have a ridiculous policy that they will not allow re-sell of a breast pump. They are classified as a medical device. This is despite no medical training needed to use one, they are sold in mother and baby shops (not pharmacies). These devices are everyday essentials for many breastfeeding mothers and their babies. 

Babies bottles and cutlery can be re-sold, why not a breast pump? I can’t help but think this decision has been made by someone who has no comprehension of what the pumps are for and how they are used. 

These are expensive pieces of kit, which many mother’s want second hand to save money and reduce landfill.

we urge Meta to change your terms and allow breastpumps to be sold on Facebook Marketplace.
