If my history serves We The People pay the salaries of Politicians so they should care about us RIGHT. Well in our time of need why can't they give back after so many years of taking the hard earned cash we pay them.

Yes if we take a cut in pay they should also; we are not saying give up the total pay but half would not hurt them not as badly as we are being hurt. Take all the cash and create jobs, that will give us some self worth. Covic has caused a lot of pain and joblessness but before that jobs with any value were gone to other counties where they are paid way less than we get paid here. Just out of curiosity if we have no jobs how can we be consumers are is that even a issue!!! It seems like each elected official Is only trying to get ahead of the other in the climb to the top and to heck with the people that put their faith in the American dream.

I as an individual having always believed in working hard and making something of yourself; not to get it free and throw it away. I came from nothing and have cut out a small living that serves me well; siting here the future does not look well for the younger people coming up, we need to secure their future to able to work hard and accomplish a living; not just make them believe that going in debt for and education with no job in sight; the only one making money is the people behind the system.

Since WE THE PEOPLE are the ones paying for elected officials why can't they give back. Stop paying for half their pay and place if in a job fund ( follow the emergency relief appropriation act of Franklin Roosevelt)
