As someone who is black hearted and dead inside the black heart emoji is one of my most used. 

Today when talking to a friend on facebook messenger I wished to express appreciation for something she had said and was alarmed to find there was no black heart. 

I considered using a blue one, to represent the cold and icy quality of my feelings but it's really more of a bright royal blue. In the end I had to use a standard red heart and it just felt so wrong.

Please facebook, stop discriminating against the dark and emotionally stunted. Give us a black heart emoji so we can express love and affection in a way that acknowledges the darkness in our souls.
