Incoming Grade 12 Public School Students Should Receive Equivalent Value of their Voucher

This school year, only students who decided to study in private schools received their voucher grants, which we, public school students, find unfair.
The voucher program of the government should reach all the students of the pioneer batch of K-12 program regardless of which school they will choose. It's unfair because even if they (grade 11 private school students) didn't receive it in cash, it's still a big help for them because some schools only charged a little compared to their original tuition fee and some schools totally didn't charge tuition fee anymore. What about us here in public schools? Aren't we part of the pioneer batch? We also need money for our uniforms and other school expenses. Besides, DepEd also lacks assistance because we have no modules in our school, teachers only have their competency guide, and we don't have sound system for flag ceremony and other important announcements. So, where did the fund for Public Senior High Schools go?
We, public senior high school students, are asking DepEd to give us the equivalent value of our voucher that we will not use in Grade 12 in cash. If not, it's very unfair for us because every pioneer student of K-12 program has his/her voucher grant given/allocated by the government. If you're one of us, join the movement and sign this petition! Equality and fairness above all!
