(F.I.T.) Feral Infestation Transition: Chicken Habitation Relocation.
Feral Infestation
Within a short span of time, the chicken population, in the state of Hawaii has reached a staggering level of concern.
The residential, commercial, and government sectors have sighted increasing problems...
From the never-ending crowing in the early morning hours to the damages and health hazards incurred by the population increase.
After speaking to a number of frustrated individuals, some even to the point of tears, I felt compelled to pursue a humane solution.
This is designed for the community to voice their concerns and to have their opinions heard; hopefully, bring together a solution for the well-being of our resources, human health, and safety.
There are some that say the Chickens "do not bother" them and find them entertaining; while opting to feed the birds on a regular basis.
No matter if you are PRO or CON on the issue, for the sake of the environmental impact, I can see the need to address this overpopulation surge.
We feel that there is a way forward and are willing to communicate, not only our concerns but provide a viable solution.
