This was my hometown where I grew up; it was a vibrant & wonderful town--now it is a toxic dump which has caused many citizens to experience various forms of cancer, MS, & other illnesses caused by the toxic environment.

The people of DePue are at risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and MS because the toxic heavy metals in DePue have not yet been cleaned up by the companies responsible.

have been to many races in depue its sad to see the lake so nasty and polluted ,make these greedy corrupt corporations clean up there carnage they left behind they damm sure can afford it .

I go to depue lake constantly and reading and researching about the contamination really hit me hard. I'm not from Depue, but i do have friends there. I'd love to help clean depue and make the lake a better place.
