Hi everyone! Aside from sending a notification about the event tomorrow, we do have something of an announcement! SkyTrain for Surrey is one of the groups that will join forces with a new citizens' group, which is opposing the proposed LRT system to Newton and Guildford. "Stop Surrey LRT" is aiming to unite all local residents from all viewpoints who are opposed to the Surrey LRT project. An inaugural "Stop Surrey LRT Rally" will be hosted tomorrow (Thursday, June 22nd) at Surrey Civic Plaza. TransLink is hosting an LRT open house at City Hall at the time, so this will be a great opportunity to demonstrate opposition as well as reach out to the public in and around City Hall Plaza as well as Surrey Central transit exchange.
