The Postal Station located in the gated community of Treasure Lake (Dubois, PA) is severely inadequate! It was built long before Amazon and direct-to-consumer deliveries became the things that they are today. As societies evolve so do their governments, and so should their government's services.

On a daily basis the Postal employees struggle to be able to move about and process USPS mail, let alone the dozens, sometimes hundreds, of packages! During the holidays I wouldn't doubt that that number is 1,000 or above. The simple lack of space prohibits their ability to perform their job and undoubtedly is a major safety issue. We have valid concerns that a review would find the Postal Station in violation of fire and other safety regulations.

There is most definitely available space to allow for the expansion of this facility. With the volume that passes through the station, it is necessary for the efficient and safe handling and processing of USPS mail and other packages.

The Treasure Lake Postal Station needs to be renovated. Previous communications with the Postmaster have resulted in no action. The time is now.
