Expanding promotion places from the National League + extra relegation space from L2

Expanding promotion places from the National League + extra relegation space from L2
Why this petition matters
The gap between the National League and Football League is decreasing therefore I am proposing that an extra promotion slot should be given to the National League and there should also be an extra relegation spot from League Two.
This is shown by the teams who have been promoted to League Two and going on to stay up the following season:
2021/22: Hartlepool (17th) + Sutton United (8th)
2020/21: Barrow (21st) + Harrogate Town (17th)
2019/20: Leyton Orient (17th) + Salford (11th)- Covid-19 pandemic curtailed season.
2018/19: Macclesfield Town (22nd) + Tranmere Rovers (6th- promoted)
2017/18: Forest Green (21st) + Lincoln City (7th)
2016/17: Cheltenham Town (21st) + Grimsby Town (14th)
2015/16: Barnet (15th) + Bristol Rovers (3rd- promoted)
2014/15: Cambridge (19th) + Luton Town (18th)
2013/14: Newport County (14th) + Mansfield Town (11th)
2012/13: York City (17th) + Fleetwood Town (13th)
2011/12: AFC Wimbledon (16th) + Crawley (3rd- promoted)
2010/11: Oxford (12th) Stevenage (6th- promoted)
For the last 12 seasons (at least) the two teams who have come up from the National League have not been relegated.
Many of the clubs at the higher end of the National League get stuck there as there are not enough promotion spots.
