I am a person with a disability and currently, I use Dial a Ride Pace services to get around in my community. I cannot get and maintain competitive employment or participate recreation activities on the weekends because the current Dial a Ride system has limited hours of operation, no weekend availability, and limited boundaries. People with disabilities need to be able to live their life and access their communities just like everyone else. Our lives should not be required to stop at six in the evening each day because that is when transportation services end. I would like to see the hours and boundaries Pace operates in Lake county expanded.
