I have been a student in the Sau16 district my entire life.

The amount of respect that's earned me by the administration is clearly zero. I am outraged and appalled, for all four year at the high school I was the trans student. I was asked for my opinion on a range of things to help "treat trans students with respect" and all that got me is my name on my email changed HALFWAY THROUGH MY SENOIR YEAR. This year as many of you have noticed there's a new paragraph at the end of every email sent by a school account that claims to not discriminate based on many things including gender identity. This is clearly an act. I am not the only trans student to have the wrong name put in the yearbook, and to add insult to injury they clearly have the capability to put in the right name because there are many trans student who do have the right name in their pictures. By signing this petition you are taking a stand with all the trans students who've been disrespected by the administration. Reprint the yearbook with the right names, or stop claiming you don't discriminate when you clearly do. Be better Exeter High School, your supposed to be one of the best high schools to attend.
