Evzio decided late last year to discontinue production of their Narcan Auto Injector, a product that has saved children, parents, siblings, friends, all those we care about, from needlessly dying due to opiate over dose. Other Narcan products will still be availble.

From over two decades of personal experience with IV opioid drug use/abuse, and having overdosed myself, as well as having been present when many others overdosed, the auto injector in my opinion, is BY FAR the best product with narcan to hit the market. For one, it is the easiest to use which is very important!!!!!! I remember looking up to see my fiance sitting straight up, gray, cold, blue lips, lifeless rigid body not responding as i screamed her name. The panic and adrenaline that shoots through someone when this happens can be debilitating.  The nasal shot was very difficult to get in her nose and adminster, in fact, the first one missed. I only had one more left and thank God that one worked.

Don't even get me started on the syringe kits that hace a syringe in two parts you have to open amd put together correctly and then puncture the narcan vial correctly, draw up the correct amount(to this day ive never been given that infirmarion)and then administer it to them. I know people have died due to these being overly involced and complicated when someone is scared to death panicking and they know every second counts........

The auto injector is one piece about the size abd shape of a Zippo lighter. Fits right in any pocket no problem. It has the correct dose and a little speaker verbally walks you through each step of adminstering the life saving medication.  I was so excites when I first saw these and I kniw beyond a shadow of a doubt they eliminated some sensless deaths with this design.

Im shocked and deeply distirbed that they would scrap such am amazing product and idea when peoples lives are quite literally at stake. What if your child went to school one morning and never came home because someone couldnt figure out the syringe??? It happens every day. Please sign this petition and lets get this product back out there saving lives again!!!!!
