To the Hon’ble President of India and the Election Commission.
Sir, for democracy to survive, it is important that elections are held in a free and fair manner giving opportunity to every citizen to choose his / her representative. We wish to bring to your kind attention that the BJP is indulging in malpractices including tampering of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), addition of fake votes and deletion of names of voters who are inclined to vote for the parties opposing them. We request the Indian Election Commission to complete 100% VVPAT counting on the same day as polling. When the numbers on VVPAT are not declared, people are expressing doubts about opportunity to tamper with the EVMs leading to manipulation of results, which again is a gross violation of the rights of the voters. We as a nation stand united to humbly request the Indian Election Commission to ensure all VVPAT slips are counted on the same day followed by announcement of election results.
