Madi Bourquein started this petition to Everyone

I believe that it is important to remember those who have died, as well as acknowledge everyone who has been affected by COVID-19—which is pretty much everyone. I purpose that every year on March 11, the day the pandemic was declared, we acknowledge these people. People who were infected with the virus, those who died from the virus, families who lost a loved one, healthcare workers, and other essential employees. While it may seem soon to start this petition, I believe that waiting to take action does no good. Initiative and motivation are keys to success. Taking a moment to be humbled by the tragedy that has struck our world seems too special to pass up.
