I pledge to learn how to do a breast self-exam and make it routine.
I pledge to learn how to do a breast self-exam and make it routine.

Our culture often tells women to be ashamed of their bodies and it impacts more than their self-confidence — it impacts their health. Four years ago, our Founder, Mary Ann, and her daughter and our current President, Betsy, spoke at a school and a young girl went up to them and said she didn’t do her breast self- exam (BSE) because she was ashamed of her body. Body shame prevents women from performing BSEs, so we are using the Daisy Wheel as a tool to get people more aware and confident with their bodies. We are reclaiming what it means to be "Self Conscious!" Know your normal and take ownership of your health and body.
We are urging all women and men to learn the eight simple steps in doing a breast self-exam by signing this petition and pleading to download the Daisy Wheel app to make breast health simple, appropriate, and routine. #BeSelfConscious
