With the evolution of technology, the miracle of the audio text has evolved in the latter half of the 20s. But with this advancement, inevitably comes abuse. Specifically, people who are fully capable of sending a brief text now choose to record five-second audios.

The recipient now struggles with the below: 

• View text contents in notifications 
• FaceTime their bestie and listen to the message at the same time (petition Apple to allow this)
• Face anxiety and unease at the uncertain content prior to pressing play 
• Deciding to respond with an audio message only to replay it and feel disgusted at their voice. Then discard it and send a regular text
• having the audio message disappear and look like we had a one-sided conversation

Surveys have found it takes the same amount of time to send an audio message as it does to say the same thing via text.

This petition is under the human rights category but really it should be limiting this human right.
