The 2007 TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender was one of the best animated shows ever produced. It was extremely captivating with the unparalleled character development, plot, and overall success. When Netflix had added the show, it gave millions the sense of nostalgia that they had in their childhood and young adult years. The ending of the series left many unanswered questions that were addressed in the unabashedly, universally considered worse sequel The Legend of Korra. There is a large public will to pick up the show. Especially with the corona virus it is much more convenient to create an animated series rather than a live action one that has been put on halt. It is up to us to show the development studios that the public, even 15 years later, still craves a proper continuation of the last Airbender. While we understand that the original cast might not be available, sourcing other impressionists and actors would be very doable. If done right, you can ride this wave of nostalgia to revive the series which would become extremely profitable to cultural enhancement, viewers, and studios.
