In the year 2000, when million-dollar quiz shows were all the rage (ABC's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire starting the trend back in 1999), Fox tried their hand at one, which was called Greed, the richest, most dangerous game in America. Hosted by game show hosting veteran Chuck Woolery, it consisted of a team of 5 players trying to answer questions to win up to $2 million (but on a special week, called Super Greed, the top prize was doubled to $4 million). At the time, $2,000,000 & $4,000,000 were the most ever offered on a game show. It turned out to be very successful, but since TV was changing, it got canceled after just one season. And that's a shame since I, including most other people, really liked and care about this show, as it was the closest we got to another Millionaire in terms of ratings. Some people even dared to say it was better than Millionaire. 

 The music was great and suspenseful. The "right answer" sound that plays when a team gets the 4th of 4 right answers in the later parts of the game feels like a sign of accomplishment. But the "wrong answer" sound in the late game scared the heck out of a lot of people, too. The concept was great, and it shows that this game is all about trust, and daring. And this was the richest, most dangerous game in America, alright. Knowing that one wrong answer loses the team everything, save for what they won in Terminators, and the only help they can get is a "Freebie" that takes only one wrong answer away shows that this game is high-stakes, and I love high-stakes game shows. I care because a lot of game show fans, again, really liked this show. They REALLY would like this show to come back.

 Please, Fox, listen to me, listen to us game show fans, and bring this game show back. It would be perfect. With all the cruddy game shows you've put out in the past, it would only be right to give this game a second chance. Millionaire got a second chance, so why not this show? Even if it's without Chuck Woolery, I would still be happy if this show came back. Maybe you could even do it live if the revival does well in the future. And hopefully, you'll bring back the music used in the original show. That music was perfect for a game like this. Just give us a great game show host, if not Chuck Woolery, bring back the old music, and don't change anything about the gameplay, and you'll have a hit on your hands. All you game show fans can make a difference if you sign this petition. If we win, we can bring back the awesome primetime game show renaissance that we all loved back in the 2000s. So, Fox, please... feel the need for Greed, one more time.
