hi its me started this petition to Everyone
The name hunter jumper comes from hunting. Hunting takes speed, accuracy, and quick thinking, which aligns more with show jumping than with hunter jumper riding. The term show jumping would make more sense for hunter jumpers riders because hunter jumper riders are thought of as more elegant and put together. Show jumping should be a term used for slow methodical accuracy, all of which are more aligned with hunter jumper riding. The goal of this petition is to bring awareness to this confusing terminology.
