Making the covid vaccine mandatory for NHS staff & other healthcare staff in the community will only drive more staff away from the NHS. In an already crippling organisation, threatening staff with take the vaccine or loose your job is no more than abuse of their position. Having a vaccine should be a choice taken by an individual. They are said to say it is a duty of care to have the covid vaccine! I challenge where is the Health secretary’s duty of care to the staff & the general public, when the vaccine is still in a trial & big pharma have been granted exemption from any liability if anything goes wrong. Where was the duty of care to staff when covid first started & frontline staff had to tend to covid patients without the correct PPE!

It is unfair & unjust to threaten care workers & NHS staff with loosing their jobs. Why do they have to be forced into taking a trial vaccine? There are other ways like regular testing, which so far has been successful. They say it’s to protect the vulnerable patients, yes but hang on, aren’t all vulnerable patients meant to be triple jabbed now? Leave the choice to the individual & let’s keep care staff & NHS staff in jobs that we so crucially need. As the healthcare organisations staffing is already dire!
