I am encouraged that our government has taken strong action to address the recent incidents involving PMD. However, I am hoping the relevant authorities will consider giving a special license to delivery riders. Our community has benefited greatly from the newly introduced service; With proper regulations in place, I believe it will be a win-win situation for both service providers and consumers. With a smaller group of licensed users on the road, I am confident things will be under much better control. Many of the delivery riders come from tough backgrounds. The delivery work is providing them with a livelihood and sustaining their loved ones. I urge all who support this petition to help suggest ideas to support the authorities in coming up with this special license. Let’s work towards a safer and more caring Singapore. Thank you.
