Let's change the way women are viewed across the world

We live in the 21st century and guess what, women are still thought inferior to men. Did you know in the U.S., there are more male CEOs named 'John' than woman CEOs overall. The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence states, 1 in 5 women have been victims of severe physical violence by an intimate partner. Poverty rates are especially high for single mothers, women of color, and elderly women living alone. Let’s not forget that pay inequality is real. A 2014 study showed that the gender pay gap is alive in all 50 states.
Being a woman in the 21st century it's very important to me that in the future women are treated equally as men. The world needs to realize that women are just as important as males, and what better way than to let both genders play sports together. I love football and I'm tired of hearing people say that women are not built to play tough sports like football. Shouldn't we give them a chance instead of assuming they can't handle such things? If she wants to play rough then she knows the worst and understands the consequences. Give her a chance to prove that she can do anything if she puts her mind into it. And maybe just maybe people will change their mindset and see she is just as strong as a man is.
