Because Pedro had to unexpectedly bring a friend to the hospital last night, he was unable to turn in an assignment that was worth a huge portion of his grade. His essay had been completed but he had wanted to wait to turn it in to make sure he was 100% with it. Unfortunately, because of this circumstance, midnight hit and his submission had not gone through. Because of this, he will probably not be able to pass the class. This will mess up his hope scholarship and GPA severely. Despite the fact that he brought his friend to the hospital, his teacher thought it would be right to still give him a zero.
