Chronic Pain Sufferers Unite started this petition to Everyone

Most people today once reaching adult hood experience occasional pain. Doctors, in their good and kind way of helping the patients, over prescribed Vicodin and Percocet.

Unfortunately, these drugs are addictive. The patients given the relief from injury, surgical recuperation and short term pain issues. Some of these patients have addictive tendencies. Whether this predisposition is genetically or lifestyle created I cannot debate this here.

I can however plea to all on behalf of those chronic physical pain sufferers. Many people spend their lives in the shadows of our great country, unable to participate fully within the confines of their finite limitations. These drugs provide wonderful relief without negative side effects nsaids do. Common nsaids like ibuprophen, naproxen sodium, and dozens more. Long term these drugs offer devastating side effects. This is especially dangerous to chronic pain sufferers with cardiac issues.

The fact some of us become dependent on narcotics to allow us an opportunity to live our lives fully. This one size fits all on shutting down the production opioids is tragic.

The body politic is that opioids are just bad is silly and more importantly crushing to people who really need them. I am certain, although no proof or statistics are kept, that this opioid death crisis is predominantly due to illicit misuse of these drugs and the lacing of them with fentanol. This is an anesthetic not a pain reliever!

My point is simply this, allow physicians to selectively prescribe to truly hurting chronic sufferers of pain. Currently physicians are being pressured, bullied, and threatened by misguided government agencies NOT to prescribed and send patients back to their beds and shorten their lives.

Please sign this petition to support a more humane dispensing approach.
