Me and my mom bought clothes for the new school year. We are now having to buy new ones because they show a little belly. I really think that showing belly is appropriate especially because once we start school it’s still gonna be hot, and we can’t show as much as boys can. Being able to express yourself and wearing what you want is basic human rights and it’s great when expressing yourself with what your wearing. I think that unless your showing your Vaginal areas or breast the clothing that you chose should be allowed to wear in a public area. If the main reason schools are putting this rule is that the clothing is distracting it’s not a valid reason, girls shouldn’t have to listen to rules because boys don’t know how to keep it in their pants. Instead of making girl suffer the consequences teach boys how to control themselves and teach them when it’s right and wrong. On the other hand if this rule is for “minor safety” that is also invalid, because we are not showing any inappropriate places on our body. There shouldn’t be anything sexual about a stomach like I said it is nothing like a vagina or breast it is a normal body part that is equivalent to showing your legs. These days you see many girls wearing crop tops and expressing themselves with clothing in my opinion  there should be nothing wrong with that and by signing this petition you could help to change that
