The name "Corona Virus" is confusing, and doesn't successfully differentiate the virus from other types of coronaviruses. Its typical for the common names of these viruses to describe the origin of the virus in some way, and this virus came from China, as did Kung Fu.  The current name is also causing problems for Cervecería Modelo, the creators of the Corona Extra lager, and the jokes are getting old.
