For most Zimbabweans the struggle has not ended with the Departure of Mr Mugabe, it's only just the beginning. There is no real trust between the people of Zimbabwe and President Emmerson Mnangagwa but the citizens of Zimbabwe are hoping that anyone other than Mr Mugabe will do just for the moment. Let us not be fooled nothing has really changed.
I am accepting President Emmerson Mnangagwa's presidency with caution. He gave a blind eye to the suffering of the people of Zimbabwe for the last 37 years and only when he started suffering and experiencing oppression at the hands of Mugabe and his wife did he then decide to act.
It had to take someone within the corrupt ZANU PF party like President Mnangagwa who knows the secrets within the party to bring Mr Mugabe down.
We are calling for free and fair elections that are monitored by the international community especially the United Nations (UN) as President Mnangagwa is an expert at rigging elections. He knows the ins and out of rigging as he has been Mr Mugabe's right hand man and was mentored by Mr Mugabe so we cannot possibly expect change. We would like to see real freedom in Zimbabwe. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of association and freedom to have different opinions to the ruling party without fearing for our lives or being oppressed.
I'm asking anyone who can help to sign this petition to the UN to monitor the Zimbabwean Elections. The petition will be delivered to the UN's headquarters in USA. Anyone who wants to see Zimbabwe free again please sign the petition. I’m appealing to anyone who can help to please sign the petition and anyone with influence to help us get the UN to intervene in the elections of Zimbabwe so that our country can be free again. We do not want to continue suffering under the ZANU PF system that only progresses its members and not all citizens.
We are looking forward to the future now as a free nation.
