It has been clear that the people who opened, and signed this petition agree that the canteen in Monash University Malaysia, provided by Sime Darby has been less satisfactory, according to the satisfaction standards expected by most of the Monash University Malaysia students.

This condition has made the Monash University Malaysia students to feel that the renovation of the university’s canteen has not completely achieve its goal, even though with the very nice space and infrastructure provided, to provide good food and learning space for the university’s students to have their food, especially after the afternoon classes.

Therefore, based on this petition, we would like to request a change in the canteen provider or system, creating a better canteen for everyone, which includes:

- longer canteen hours for students who have class or consultation after 6, as the current canteen provider only provides food for Monash Malaysian Students until 2 P.M

- better food quality, in the aspects of ingredients, taste, and quality, which will complement the current improvement of the canteen infrastructure, fulfilling the goal of which the canteen was renovated in the first place.
