There are over hundreds of men and women in PA prisons serving a LIFE without parole sentence for murder and they NEVER killed anyone. Gregory Womack is one such inmate who is serving a LIFE without parole sentence who not only didn’t kill anybody but he wasn’t even at the scene of the crime. Mr. Womack was the getaway drive, however; he is serving a LIFE without parole sentence because of a antiquated law which says that everybody who participated in a felony, such as a robbery and should somebody lose their life then everybody is guilty of murder when only one person actually committed the murder. This law is called felony murder and it has hundreds in PA prisons who never killed or had the intent to kill. Mr. Womack takes full responsibility for the poor decision he made on that fateful night but should he have to spend the rest of his life in prison for one bad decision? There were others involved in this crime who are now free even the person who did the actual killing. How unfair is that? Mr. Womack and many others like him need your help to call our elected officials to the task of correcting this antiquated sentence and bring home the many deserving man & woman who have served enough time before they die.
