The Ukraine Russian conflict opens the risk of a local and global nuclear war. The use of nuclear weapons is more and more menaced by the Russian representatives in the last days. Europe would be the first target of a nuclear attack operated by Russia, as for example suggested by the Princeton simulation available here: https://youtu.be/2jy3JU-ORpo

The reason for such Russian attack against Europe is the localization of NATO nuclear weapons across Europe. Big parts of Europe would be wiped away in less than one hour. US annihilation would follow. In case Russia strikes first or strikes back, tens if not hundreds of millions of people would be annihilated in less than a day. 

If you see two persons fighting on the street, do you give one of them a gun or do you call police to let them stop? We want EU to be the police of the situation. We want EU to support the citizens of Ukraine not by arming them, but instead by promoting diplomatic compromises between the contendents and who supports them. We want EU to be the promoter of new equilibrium across the world instead of turning itself into a weapon dealer. 

We want the EU parliament to find alternatives to shipping weapons to Ukraine. The risk of increasing the conflict duration and eventual retaliations in Ukraine itself and in the world is very high. 

We ask the European Union to open all its diplomatic channels and do all what is possible to minimize the local and  global deadly consequences of the Ukraine Russian conflict. 

We want EU to promote peace, not war.
