Migrant workers in Qatar still face extremely long working days and back wages, or they are not paid at all. Almost 2 million migrant workers work in Qatar.

Call on FIFA to ensure that Qatar protects the human rights of all migrant workers, including those involved in the 2022 World Cup.

Since Qatar was assigned the organization of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in 2010, it has become clear that workers' human rights are being systematically violated in the construction of the stadiums. Recently, the authorities implemented reforms to improve working conditions. A major problem, however, is the poor enforcement of those reforms. As a result, thousands of workers are still at the mercy of unscrupulous employers, who take advantage of them with impunity.
