We, the citizens of the European Union, demand to immediately start the procedures of accepting Ukraine into the EU. Given the extraudinary circumstances when the citizens of Ukraine are hiding in the basements and subway stations from the Russian bombs, and while the rest of the world keeps watching, we ask European Parliament, Council of the European Union and personally Ursula von der Leyen to accept Ukraine into our European family NOW.

The Western countries have continually made business with Kremlin, enriching Putin's government (only last year Russia made over $500 billion dollars on exporting its natural resources and goods). Even the outrageous crimes that Kremlin has commited over decades – Beslan, Nord-Ost, downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 to name a few – haven't prevented the EU from making business and negotiating with the criminals.

Now, when the full blown war has broken in Europe and the invasion of our neighbour has begun, we demand the immediate action from the EU government. To approve the application of the Ukrainian President Zelensky to join the EU, and to urgently accept Ukraine into the European family would be the best way to demonstrate our support – and to rescue millions of innocent civilians.
