"The EBU has withdrawn member services from Romanian public service broadcaster Televiziunea Română (TVR) following the non-payment of debts totalling CHF 16 million. TVR will now no longer be able to participate in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest and will lose access to other EBU member services including the Eurovision News and Sports News Exchanges, the right to broadcast specific sporting events, legal, technical and research expertise and lobbying services."

TVR had already chosen an artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, Ovidiu Anton, who can now not participate anymore which is just an awful thing of the EBU to do to him. They should have withdrawn TVR earlier or after the contest, this is just competly disrespectful for the artist. If you sign this petition you support getting Ovidiu Anton to Stockholm, because he deserves to atleast perform.

I got finally official notification. I’m trying to smile and I don’t get carried away but… It’s unfair. I remain the same, same artist honestly, same fighter who won by split jury and and public decision… Even though, paradoxically, I must declare defeated. The who? Why? That’s right??? … I don’t know how to say it now so nice myself."
