McKenzie Angels coming to the Rescue of McKenzie Friends - in London and Brussels?
Nov 19, 2015 — Ok, dear Supporters,
The Report of the MEPs does not appear to have been published yet.
BUT: you may have seen that Swedish MEP Cecilia Wikstrom announced it and the Italian Chair of the Working Group Eleanor Evi MEP also mentioned on the video that it was discussed on Tuesday 17 November.
We publish the EU video not only here but also on
and on the website of the McKenzie Friends: http://mckenzie-friends.co.uk/2015/11/14/meps-came-for-fact-finding-visit-to-london-and-report-ep_petitions-committee/
In private conversations I was told that the visit CONFIRMED what MEPs had heard and read before.
It is really important to appreciate that the Petitions Committee has taken the issue on board with its new working group. This group will take the debate further to the EU Parliament and the EU Council, IF WE KEEP THE SUPPORT GOING by SHARING.
As McKenzie Friends we have had to battle not only on behalf of VICTIMS and LITIGANTS IN PERSON, but also for our voluntary activities as McKenzie Friends and ‘Child Knights’ promoting Children’s Rights First! See http://www.meetup.com/childrensrightsfirst/ and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp6tfg99PP84y3SPu6WypKw
We now need McKenzie ANGELS in public galleries more than ever! One of the outcomes of our meeting at the Theatro Technis is a new blog for McKenzie Angels: https://mckenzieangels.wordpress.com/ If you are willing to wear a T-shirt, we will order them!
A first opportunity will be 1st December at the Royal Courts of Justice when Judge SIMLER wants to hear the case that originated when US mother Melissa Laird was in HMP Holloway until she got deported, while her son was kept behind for adoption. See https://melissalaird.wordpress.com/
While Melissa was in prison, we filed two Judicial Reviews for her. The first one was successful and as a result Melissa was TORTURED in Holloway. The second one never resulted in an oral hearing for her, because the Court insisted on antiquated technology rather than Skype.
We are now expected to pay for the costs of the private barrister incurred by the Treasury Solicitor’s office, while we ourselves have NEVER charged for our help, support and assistance!
We must suspect more sinister motives and intentions behind this summons? invitation? to attend the RCJ on 1st December…
For the moment though we’re still here to shine our light and to take one hurdle after another!
Until the next time,
Belinda and Sabine
