Turkey has launched a ground and air assault against a Syrian militia that has been a crucial American ally in the fight against ISIS, days after President Trump agreed to let the operation proceed and removed troops from around the area. Only hours after the strike was launched at least 15 people have been reported dead. We need to put pressure on all governments not to support Turkey, which means cutting all ties, foremost any arms deals, but other financial ties during this time. Finland has already announced it is stopping selling weapons after the invasion of Northern and Eastern Syria. Now the rest of the world needs to do the same. Turkey claims they are going to fight a “responsible war”, but there is not such thing, this falls under the category of ethnic cleansing.
