Recently Upwork has blocked russian and belarusian contractors from earning income on its platform. 

It's time for Etsy to follow suit to help cut off all exports from russia. 

Some people might think that it is enough to cut off financial ties to russia but this is not the case. Online platforms specifically like Etsy still offer an avenue for russia's economy to benefit from exports thus circumventing action taken by large payment providers and governments. 

It is true that russian families will be adversely affected economically by this action but the loss of life and destruction of Ukrainian heritage in monuments and art cannot be outweighed by loss of income by russian families and persons.
