Before he became a member of parliament Dr. Hangasa Ibrahim has made a derogatory statement about the people of Addis Ababa and we are dishearted by his degrading comment about our mothers and those who are born in Addis Ababa. We demand his apology for saying "Addis Ababa people who are born in Addis are children of prostitutes and they don't know their fathers." Despite his hateful speech, he is elected to the house of representatives representing the ruling Prosperity Party. He has to come clean by putting out an official apology.
We demand Property Party, and the Hosue of Representatives to condemn the statement and pressure, Dr. Hangasa Ibrahim, to issue his official apologies to the people of Addis Ababa.
