We the community of upper Hexham, Jortham, Tottenham, Brebham, Ivernham and Brooksfarm have been experiencing regular water cuts by the Durban Ethekwini from November 2021 from Reservoir 4. We pay our rates and our taxes but we are still billed for water. We receive no notification when our water is cut off. We want the Ethekwini to STOP the water cuts in our area and turn on the water supply PERMANENTLY. This is a service delivery failure to paying rate and tax payers. Despite receiving assistance from our councillor, we now call on the Mayor, Thomas Mxolisi Kaunda to resolve this matter and honour his promises as elected.
