- The Swaziland National team called 'Sihlangu Semnikati' is not a NATIONAL TEAM because it doesnt represent the nation but the interest of the dictator Mswati and his oppressive regime.
- The team is used to present the country as normal to the world, yet the people of Swaziland are suffering, murdered and improsoned for demanding their birthrights of freedom, justice and democracy.
- The given name of the team "SIHLANGU SEMNIKATI" means the SHIELD OF THE OWNER in english. The owner is the King who continues to enjoy a lavish lifestyle while people are getting poorer; since last year this oppressive king, the owner of this team has deployed soldiers throughout the country to brutally harass and kill citizens.
- The people of Swaziland DEMAND ' DEMOCRACY FIRST AND SOCCER LATER" The country must be totally banned from all sporting activities internationally until democracy and justice is achieved.
- SADC should take the country's situation seriously by not ignoring the plight of the citizens. Mswati has failed to institute the National Dialogue proposed by SADC to address the political issues and yet SADC allows his team to participate in such matches. Soccer is not a priority now for this dying nation.
- Most of the players in this so called National Team are the brutal murderous security forces , disguised as soccer players and responsible for the brutal killing of innocent citizens in Swaziland as instructed by the dictator ruler and his regime.
- In solidarity with the people of Swaziland . COSAFA, Sponsors and all lovers of peace and democracy , kindly ban this soccer team to demonstrate your unequivical condemnation of the violent oppression of the Swazi people.
