A request has been made to annex 53+ acres into the City of Carrollton, GA on Spring Rd (at Old Newnan RD). The purpose of this annexation is to develop a 122 home subdivision. The subdivision will be built by McDowell and Associates, they are known to build low price homes such as the Eagles Nest Subdivision. We feel this will overload the capabilities of Old Newnan RD as well as place a burden on the surrounding areas. 

An initial hearing will be held on December 14th at Carrollton Public Safety Annex. An additional hearing will be held on January 3rd. Both will be at 6pm.
