Brentwood high street is now closed for cars and taxis between 9am -6pm for at least next 3 weeks possibly longer if we don't act now .we have already  been hit hard with tfl closing the station barrier twice a day .this is only going to make things worse for us.  Our only drop zone and pick up is at St Thomas rd or behind the high street. This is going cause problems with the ederly and vunerable people who cannot walk too far and may now be too scared to go out. Or there anxious people that need to go one shop only and back.the highways need to allow taxi in as we provide a public service. That's before more traffic when the School s are running full .taxis  will be penalized will not be able to cut through. Causing customer to have to pay more. So please we need as much support as possible to get Essex highway's to listen. I can understand they want less traffic though high street to make it greener but they need make all public transport through
