Our library is the one local resource available to older people, students, children, reading groups, families, job applicants, researchers. If we lose it, we'll be deprived of an irreplaceable facility and service. Many people cannot travel to another town: that is an option unavailable for multiple reasons: expense, inadequate travel options, logistics.
