Tackle Speeding on Coxtie Green Road

Tackle Speeding on Coxtie Green Road
I know that traffic speed and pedestrian safety on the road continues to be an important topic for local residents, alongside the environmental concerns due to the increased fumes created by speeding cars.
A traffic speed survey recently carried out by the County Council showed that average speed of the road was recorded as 34mph, with the 85 percentile being 37 mph - basically 85% of drivers are doing under 37 mph, with the rest doing more! (More info on what percentiles mean)
I have now made a formal request to Essex County Council for formal options to enforcing the 30mph speed limit . They will have to come back with proposals of how this can be done, but in order to ensure they understand the importance of implementing changes I am asking local residents to sign a petition, which will be delivered to the leadership at Essex County Council by myself alongside our County Councillor, Lesley Wagland.
By signing this petition you agree that speeding on Coxtie Green Road is an issue which needs addressing, and request Essex County Council to take action!
Thanks for your support - please do share this petition with friends and neighbours!
