We as Carers need more recognition for the work we did during the Covid 19 pandemic , we was on the front line just as much as the NHS staff who might I add did an amazing job , we not only put ourselves at risk but also our family’s 

we worked long hours , normally 7 days a week looking after your family whilst ours suffered by us not being there 

we feel that the wage we get does not compare to the work we do , also you never hear about Carers going above and beyond it’s like our profession is forgotten
