This is a petition to remove Molly Qerim-Rose from ESPN's First Take. Molly is the direct reason that the show has lost it's entertainment zest. Molly's role on the show First Take is to be a moderator. She has obviously decided that it is more beneficial for the show if she debates, which could not be further from the truth. We as the viewer tune in to the show to hear the expertise and analysis of Stephen A, Max Kellerman, Ryan Clark, et c. All we get instead is a barrage of interruptions, off kilter sports analysis, corny hip-hop references, what feels like disingenuous empathy towards social justice, women's right's initiative(though we fully support women's rights, it's not her position on the show to make her feelings known about such matters), unwanted and unsolicited opinions, and just an overall eye-rolling exhaustion from her self-centered, attention-seeking soliloquies. We ask that she be removed for the sake of the show and all parties involved. She's a nuisance to everyone on the show and it's not conjecture, if you take the time to observe the body language it's palpable. Ros Gold-Unwude, Elle Duncan, or Charlie Arnold would certainly be an upgrade and bring life back to the show.
