Dedicated, experienced, hardworking bus drivers are difficult to find, removing Miss Joanne from our route is something we do not take lightly. Joanne has been driving our children to and from school safely from the day they started kindergarten. She is always prompt, very attentive and we did not have to wait outside for a 15-20 min gap for the bus as she showed up at the same time no matter the circumstances. Due to her absence our children:

• are getting bullied
• missing the bus
• do not have a consistency

These are only 3 examples, but It effects parents/guardians as well In case you’re unaware, routine is very important for our kids and starting the day off with a consistent one will impact their school day ahead.
As for the bullying: we did not have any issues until Ms Joanne was out for the one and only week she had to take for medical reasons.

As tax payers we should have say in who we entrust with our children. Below you are provided with signatures from every parent/guardian who agree and demand for Ms Joanne back on the route she has been driving for the last 11 years! ESM administration and Montauk bus company do not see what goes on day to day and should know what a positive impact Ms Joanne has.
