Dear fellow students,

On February 3rd, 2022, ESCP announced that the annual Gala was going to be canceled due to COVID-19. As many of you have brought to the table the disappointment regarding this decision, AGORA Campus referees and the student representatives have decided to take action and will do everything we possibly can to convince the Dean of the London Campus to review his choice.

There are four main reasons that we are using to support our request:

1. At the end of January, all covid restrictions in London were lifted
2. Students will find a way to organize it something similar anyway, but there will be even less control over the spread of covid (if ESCP were to organise it, they could contain the spread of the virus by requiring a PCR test and vaccination status)
3. Ms. Solène Hoyez has been doing an amazing job organising it and, for now, all of her efforts have gone to waste. 
4. We have been respecting covid measures without questioning them: we deserve a night where we can feel like it was worth all of our efforts.
