In this modern world, millennials are very abrupt to the reality of Teenage pregnancy. The word is just a simple word. The act is just for entertainment for in fact this act should be done after the wedding. A scared entity that God has given to us and allow to multiply around the Earth. Teenage pregnancy, also known as adolescent pregnancy, is pregnancy in females under the age of 20. A female can become pregnant from sexual intercourse after she has begun to ovulate, which can be before her first menstrual period (menarche) but usually occurs after the onset of her periods. In well-nourished females, menarche usually takes place around the age of 12 or 13. Pregnant teenagers face many of the same pregnancy related issues as other women. There are, however, additional concerns for those under 15 of age as they are less likely to be physically developed enough to sustain a healthy pregnancy or to give birth. For girls aged 15–19 risks are associated more with socioeconomic factors than with the biological effects of age. Risks of low birth weight, premature labor, anemia, and pre-eclampsia are connected to the biological age, being observed in teen births even after controlling for other risk factors (such as accessing prenatal care etc.) this groups goal is to fight this event from occurring and stop the rapid growth of this teenage pregnancy.
The purpose of the group to conceptualize this kind of manuscript is to raise an awareness and an action to protect and preserve that what we called “Filipino-ness” of a Pilipino woman that they bear for generation and disrupt by today’s generation. It is important for the youth to preserve dignity for themselves and pride. The sponsors will not waste their time for this concept paper because this is relevant to the society today and the effort will be an immense help for the group to support such acts and encourage young students stop and think for their future.
Half of the world’s population are under 25. Some 1.8 billion are aged 10-25, history’s largest generation of adolescents, and about 85% live in the developing world. Most people become sexually active before their 20th birthday. 49% of girls in least developed countries marry before they turn 18. 10% – 40% of young unmarried girls have had an unintended pregnancy according to community studies. Some 14 million children worldwide are born every year to young married and unmarried women aged 15 to 19. Teen pregnancy is a communal problem, a family problem, and a personal problem all rolled into one. It frequently goes hand in hand with premarital sex. Problems come when the news needs to breach each parent’s party. A spring of thought flash before one’s eyes, and registers only two; whether, to back the hell up – abort the child or carry on with the pregnancy but sign up for adoption - or get the hell in – have the child with all its perks and consequences alike. After which, these impressions simply serve no purpose but to put them off, and deduce to mere nuisance to them when the truth of their situation slowly sinks in. How do they provide for the child if their parents cut them short financially? Will they be able to go to grad school? What will become of their future? What will become of their child’s future? By this time, they would have to contend with the pressures of parenthood. What’ll truly bother them in the long run is the reality of whether they can fulfill their obligation as parents, and the security of their child’s future. Teenage pregnancy is becoming a societal problem that branches out to other problems.
