I'm signing because BBQ toxic fumes, ashes under the trees and in the lakes, danger of fire and litter piles make impossible to use Park for recreation and rest.

I live across the street from the corner at Park Circle. I have watched our grass turn to dirt and have had to keep my windows closed and stay off my terrace all day, all weekend long, because of the toxic smoke from bbqs. A space where we held my son's June bday party every year is completely ruined. It's a shame and embarrassment to our beautiful, beloved neighborhood. the parks dept should be outraged that the entrance to our park is in such a state of shambles.

I have noticed that in the last 5 years there are so many more park users coming from all parts of the city. I even saw that someone had built a campfire last night and people are putting up tents. The park cannot take this kind of capacity without serious enforcement of the rules and if they cannot do this then the should just have a zero tolerance policy. It is not just the holiday weekends any longer, but every weekend that people are setting up camps any where and every where with fires and commercial dj speakers with music. It is only going to get worse if something is not done.

The smoke from BBQ is toxic and should be ban from all residential areas and public spaces in the five boroughs.

I live in the neighborhood and while walking my dog in Prospect Park I oftentimes must endure the immense smell of charcoal burning for BBQ cooking. The entire park is occupied which means there is a great dense fume throughout the park. It is extremely unpleasant for all and I feel sorry for the people who live right across the street from the park. Please help the community to prohibit BBQ in Prospect Park for the health of all. Thank you.

Maybe we shouldn't be cooking this way!
