Before the pandemic, schools were struggling with crippling budget cuts, immense legislative pressure and a disparity in resources. The CARES Act provided approximately $13.5 Billion in relief care for K-12 schools but this simply is not enough; Schools are dealing with an upsurge in expenses due to unforeseen circumstances. Millions of students depend on school for food, special needs care and various educational needs but school corporations are struggling to provide. There is a gap in the education that students are entitled to and the one they are given. 

"This is fine if you live in a neighborhood with a country club, but it is problematic if you live in an area without working streetlight"

The youth today will become the leaders of tomorrow and they will remember where your priorities were when tragedy hit.
